Third Annual Augusta Chronicle Christmas Light-Up Spectacular

The City of Augusta, the City of North Augusta, the Downtown Development Authority, the Augusta Chronicle and many private sector partners are hard at work bringing new Christmas decorations to all of downtown. 

Mark your calendars for the first weekend in December for many exciting holiday events.
Friday December 4th, “Twas the Night Before” will feature First Friday from 5:00 until 10:00 pm and the boat parade at 6:30 pm down the Savannah River. 

Saturday, December 5th will kick-off with the 2009 Christmas Fantasy Parade presented by the Miss Augusta Scholarship Pageant Board at 3:00 pm.

At 4:30 pm, join us at the Augusta Commons for the Third Annual Christmas Light-Up Spectacular. Enjoy the many family activities and great entertainment by local choral groups.

At 6:15 pm, Mayor Deke Copenhaver will officially turn-on the lights!
